Blacksad Blacksad & Weekly Duo Statue

Imported from France! Attakus presents a statue inspired by the rich universe of the film noir-like comic Blacksad, created by writer Juan Diaz Canales and artist Juanjo Guarnido. Guarnido's art brings the 1940s New York setting to realistic life as his illustrated are bathed in colors moody, muted, and eminently appropriate for this film noir homage. This statue of Blacksad and his sidekick Weekly has been meticulously sculpted, individually painted, and hand-finished to become an outstanding addition to anyone's collection. The statue stands 16" tall and is made of cold cast resin.

Blacksad John Blacksad 2 Mini Bust

Imported from France! Writer Juan Diaz Canales and artist Juanjo Guarnido created the rich, film noir-like universe of Blacksad. This mini-bust features the main character of the series, anthropomorphic detective John Blacksad, once again available after the previous release sold out. Torn from the pages of Sin City , our sculpture makes clear what longtime readers already know: Marv is one tough hombré! Not only can he take abuse dished out in brutal chunks, but he'll give it back to you in spades. These are new statues, but are designed to recall the 1940's sculpting and painting style of "syroco"statues, with a result which Craig Yoe describes as "primitive but charming."
