Penny Arcade Poster: Subway Gaming

Penny Arcade is among the most popular webcomics currently online, hosting both a children's charity (Child's Play) and a gaming convention (PAX) each year. It debuted on November 18, 1998 as a regular feature on the web site loonygames. The authors launched their own site in late 1999, and new comic strips are posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Lio Shadow 8x8 Laser Cel

Lio has no dialogue, telling stories only with images. Lio's main character is a curious young boy with an imagination that's unleashed by bumps in the night and things under the bed, offering shades of dark humor along with straightforward laughs. 'Shadow' recreates one Lio strip as a Laser Cel, a lithograph technology where the image is printed on industrial grade Mylar. Unlike traditional animation cels, Mylar will not fade, chip, crack, or deteriorate. However, images printed with this process still retain the same high quality and brilliant colors found in any animated cell. Measuring 8' x 8', this Laser Cel comes with an individually-numbered aluminum medallion that is laser etched with a logo and the sequential numnbering of the edition."
